Layer Your Gift Plants

One of the reasons why we usually have sheltered plants is to block the neighbors’ view. A gift plant that can make our garden a little secluded from the look of outsiders. A Gift plant like bamboo plants is perfect to be used as a wall to achieve its purpose.

Make Use of Fence

A fence is a good start since it can be bought at an affordable price. And anyone who is decent in Do-it-yourself can undoubtedly makes their own fence. However, if you want it to look more interesting rather than a row of nailed woods you can grow a gift plant to somehow alter its look just like bamboo plants.

Use Unique and Interesting Materials

Installing a garden fence may look a bit boring at first, so to give it a twist, try to use unexpected element to your yard. Build a fence out of extraordinary items like plexiglass.

Bonsai Trees Can be Used as a Fence

Bonsai trees can be used as a fence. Aligning these bonsai trees can give shades and at the same time blocking the view of someone on the other side. And they look great as well to give more fascination to your garden.

Mix and Match

You can create your own rule when you are designing a strategy for making you own privacy. It depends on you on how you want things to be organized on your garden. You can have vines to cover a fence or to create a partition in any direction you want it to climb – that’s the beauty of vines. Don’t forget that your creation displays how efficient and effective are you in performing the task.

You just want some privacy but I bet you don’t want a jungle at your own backyard. So, make it simple and comfortable for you but don’t overdo it.

Gift Plants for Forgiveness

Asking for forgiveness is hard. It takes time for someone to sincerely apologize and to humbly accept his own mistakes. However, saying “I am sorry” can melt even a heartless soul. And that is undoubtedly a gift that you can give to yourself to continue life without grudges and hate. It is a peaceful way to commit yourself to the process of change to discover the path of healing.

Sometimes forgiveness is associated with gifts. It can be through chocolates, bouquet of flowers, foods and stuffed toys. It can dull the vividness of the feeling that was hurt most especially if the present is wrapped with effort. Choose the right present to give and certainly you will be forgiven.

Apart from those stuff, gift plants is surely one of the best option you can offer to someone that you have wronged attached with your heartfelt sorry. Dendrobium Orchid is an excellent gift plant that has an extraordinary beauty that can captivate someone’s attention. Unlike with cut flowers that wilts easily, this gift plant can be enjoyed over time when taken care of cautiously.

Gift plants are attractive and are very much appealing to the eyes and it goes with designer pots and baskets. They can be ordered online or over the phone. And since they are available anywhere you can surely visit your local nursery to choose the right plant suitable for the recipient. They are also considered as online plants since you can take advantage of them using your computer. And to order plants online is easy and very much convenient since you don’t have to order the traditional way.

Saying sorry to someone need not necessarily incorporated with gifts. They are just given to add color to the word "sorry" yet ideal gifts can soften the pain and can ease the burden. However, Forgiveness will not be possible until compassion is born in one’s heart. Learn to take responsibility of your action and face the truth that forgiveness is needed to rekindle a relationship. Don’t be afraid and cower to ask for forgiveness since this is the only way for you to live a healthy life without loads on your back.

How to Grow Great Bonsai Plants

GivingPlants.com bonsai plants are a wonderful choice for anyone who likes to grow things or garden and loves their delicate style. They are great for offices, nursing homes, dorms and porches or patios – anywhere space is limited. Teachers with a green thumb will love them, and they create interest for students.

Bonsai plants were developed in Japan and China, and grow well indoors. GivingPlants.com bonsai plants arrive with a lovely shape, plus a beautifully designed container and plantscape. Here are the secrets to successful bonsai, courtesy of GivingPlants.com:

Light and Temperature

A bonsai needs good indoor sunlight. Morning sun and afternoon shade is ideal. It should be in temperatures of at least 60 degrees Fahrenheit during the day, and will be okay down to 45 degrees or so overnight.

Water

Bonsai needs a lot of water, but your planter should never be set in a saucer or tray with standing water. The roots will rot. Water in gravel under the pot works well to improve drainage. The container should always have drainage holes so over watering will drain off.

A Bonsai needs moderate watering when the soil appears dry – never let the soil dry out around the roots. In full sun, some Bonsai need watering daily, but every two or three is often okay. Watch your bonsai plant closely when new, establish a regular watering routine and check that as temperatures and sunlight change with the seasons.

It is happy when its leaves are moist. Spray the leaves or needles with generous amounts of water, and do that often. Umbrella bonsai trees have large leaves that act as a canopy over the pot, table or desk.

Displaying

From table top to eye level is the best display height. Zen Reflection Bonsai trees are ideal for the work place and a desk as the relaxing image of a large shade tree invades the mind and introduces peace.

Trimming

Prune or pinch back your bonsai to keep its original shape, or, if you get adventurous, the redesigned shape you choose (do this carefully and bit by bit). Start pruning in early spring, and trim when needed throughout the fall growing season. Check the Web or a book for pruning the type of bonsai plant you have. Remove all the plant bits – leaving them on the soil is likely to cause fungus.

Fertilizing

Fertilize your plant from spring through fall, but not winter. Because the container is flat, use a mix at half strength and fertilize only every three to four weeks. Again, check the needs of your kind of bonsai plant.

Other Important Care

Most bonsais – particularly the Juniper bonsai prefer to be cleaned with a small brush rather than washed. An art brush works. Be gentle.

Bonsais attract some pests – most likely aphids, caterpillars, red spider mites and ants. Watch for them, especially if you bring plants from outside, and treat with a pesticide.

Powdery mildew is the main disease concern – it looks like white flour on the leaves and stems. If leaves get rust spots (orange) you may need a rust spray, or may need to find low-potassium fertilizer or potting soil. Yellow leaves or needles, as on other plants, tell you your bonsai needs more iron.

Repotting

Bonsai needs repotting only every one to two years. Spring works best. Trim the roots when you repot, cutting off 1/3 to 2/3 of each root to give it new energy. Use a pot similar in shape to the original – shallow, rather than a traditional flower pot. That also best compliments the lines of the Bonsai plant.

Enjoy!
